What are jobs are available at a golf course?

Answer by matthew
Very few golf courses would have a arborist. Some really high end course might have a horticulturist who’s job it would be to take care of all the trees and other plants on the course. I would say their salary would range from 30-80k a year. But even a horticulturist is a very uncommon position for most golf courses. A vast majority of golf courses have a Golf Course Superintendent. His or her job is to maintain the entire grounds of the golf course. These professionals have a vast array of education and experience making them capable to maintain all different types of plant. While I will admit on most golf courses if the grass is really nice then the members are willing to look past a few trees or shrubs that don’t look great.
If you are interested in working on the maintenance side of a golf course there are a lot of jobs that are available. Just google golf course superintendent, I am sure you will find out more than you want to know.

Try this online shop. www.buygolfsets.com they offer various kinds for golf clubs for sale. I purchased 1 Callaway BB iron set from them, they offered me free shipping and 5% discount in addition. It’s very nice.

PS: please use Paypal to protect both the buyer and the seller.

Wish you good luck.

How much longer should I drive at a regular course versus a driving range?

Question by Smelly: How much longer should I drive at a regular course versus a driving range?
A new ball should drive longer then a driving range ball, right? I usually hit between 200-230 yards at a driving range before my ball his the ground. I am using the same swing and power I would at a golf course. Also, by the way, I’m a total newbie. I have only been going to the driving range for 2 months.

Hi there..

Golf carts are usually divided into types based on how they are powered, and the cost of purchasing and maintaining them varies by type. Electric golf carts are fine for golfers who will use their carts only on the golf course. Those using their golf carts in more all-terrain environments, at construction sites, or during camping or skeet shooting trips will probably want a gas powered golf cart as it can handle varying terrain and long distances better.

The price of golf carts also depends on whether you are buying a new or a used golf cart. A used golf cart can usually be purchased for half the price of a brand new one. This means you could save as much as $ 2,500 on a used electric golf cart and upwards of $ 3,500 on a gas powered golf cart.

as a top 100 clubfitter in the world i feel the best off the rack clubs are mizuno. for a low handicap the mp67 or mp60n irons, for a mid handicap the mx25 irons for a high handicap the mx900 irons, the mx500 driver and the f50 frairway woods are excellent also. for irons 3-pw you can expect to pay 699,to 999, a set.make sure whoever you get them from can also fit the lie angle to your husband. larry g.
