what are 10 safety equipment for golf?

Question by bird: what are 10 safety equipment for golf?
Explain why it is safe.
What is the most important equipment to have?

Best answer:

Answer by strup
The only safety equipment in golf is yourself. You control when you hit a ball, and most of the time the general direction and distance. In terms of on course, there are usually nets to protect golfers on a tee box that may be exposed to an adjacent hole. Other than that there really is not anything in terms of safety. Oh, yelling Fore, that is the biggest thing, because the chances of a ball actually hitting a person is very low, but letting them know a ball is hurdling towards their general location is a good idea.

Not sure if by equipment you mean what you need to play if that is so here is the top ten list:
– Set of clubs – golf bag – golf balls – tees – golf glove – golf shoes – most importantly to any golfer is golf attire (collared shirt and khakis) Have fun and enjoy playing

All are very good brands. Are you just starting out? Playing for a long time?

All of the big companies have sets for beginners-pro’s. It really comes down to feel and confidence in golf. Go check them out, hold them in your hands and decide from there.

Golden Bear Golf Equipment?

Question by ♥haley♥: Golden Bear Golf Equipment?
is that a good brand of clubs??

Best answer:

Answer by Jake L
it depends on what you are looking for in a set of golf clubs. if you are a serious golfer and plan on golfing a lot at a high level, then they are not a good set for you. if you are just starting, then they aren’t too bad. the smart thing is to wait until the sporting goods stores have their sales (like father’s day) and get a set of nice clubs for a good price. Also, you could buy that set and replace a few of the clubs with nicer ones, your driver, wedges, putter. hope this helps.

Where can is sell used golf equipment in Minneapolis?

Question by Pink08: Where can is sell used golf equipment in Minneapolis?
Play It Again Sports only takes them in trade for new ones. I have no intention of golfing and was given these clubs. What can I do with them? I’d prefer to make some money from them as they are in good shape. Help.
I meant to say “Where can I sell used golf equipment.”
peachesostic – The problem is I know nothing about golf and don’t know what the clubs and bag are worth. That’s the main problem.

Place an ad in your local newspaper’s classified section.
Place an ad on Craig’s List, online.
Look up pawn shops in Minneapolis.

(A tip of advice, though: put the price on it a little higher than the most amount you’re willing to part with your golf equipment, for others usually offer you a lower price, so as to think they really got a deal).

Good luck!! Personally, I can understand why you’d have no intention of golfing; because, myself, I think it’s a GOOFY sport! lol! (Although my s.o. loves it…..Why????! lol)

I want to know the web address of futures golf Equipment.?

Question by whitedaddy: I want to know the web address of futures golf Equipment.?

Best answer:

Answer by mayuiers
It just so happens that I called Futures Golf Equipment a week or so ago and was told that they did not have a web address. The woman who I spoke to didn’t seem to know much though. They may have a web-site after all. I just wasn’t in the mood to call back and haggle with the same woman. Once was enough. 🙂

However, if you want to send “Snail-mail” to them, you may do so at…

Futures Golf Equipment
1180 Puryear Country Club Rd
Puryear, TN 38251
Phone: 866-331-6621
Fax: 731-247-3267

Hope this helps,

Dale

Should I buy Last Years Golf Equipment?

Question by Shawn: Should I buy Last Years Golf Equipment?
Would you recommend buying this years golf equipment over last years? There is a huge difference in the price, but can there really be that much difference in the club? I am leaning toward last years but I wanted to ask for some advice before I commit.

Best answer:

Answer by Jeff
I would recommend buying last years if you want to save some money. The resale value won’t be quite as high as a new model but the resale value for golf equipments pretty much sucks anyways. There probably isn’t going to be a huge difference in the club. I mean, buying this years over last years probably isn’t going to give you more distance or accuracy. You might even like the older one better.
